CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Wellington M. Waggener, 36, Tacoma, was arrested in the 2000 block of Earl Street at about 2:38 p.m. Oct. 29 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for second-degree malicious mischief, domestic violence, after he allegedly damaged the vehicle of a family member.
• Aaron Malone, 37, Chehalis, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for second-degree burglary after allegedly entering and remaining unlawfully in a building and committing a theft at 812 W. First St at about 8:15 p.m. Oct. 29.
• Makalia Lawrence, 33, Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for second-degree vehicle prowl and third-degree theft in the 600 block of F Street at about 9:53 a.m. Oct. 30 after Lawrence allegedly entered a police vehicle, remained unlawfully and stole property.
• Marcus Redpath, 21, Morton, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for alleged violation of a no-contact order in the 500 block of South Gold Street at about 10:45 a.m. Oct. 30.
• Damon Kay, 55, Napavine, was arrested in the 700 block of South Tower Avenue at about 11:37 p.m. Oct. 30 and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, and fourth-degree assault after allegedly assaulting a household/family member and another involved person.
DUI
• David T. Thrailkill, 58, Winlock, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for driving under the influence after he was allegedly involved in a collision in the 3500 block of Galvin Road at about 7:02 a.m. Oct. 29.
Theft
• A report of shoplifting from a local business was made in the 1400 block of Harrison Avenue at about 1 p.m. Oct. 30. The suspect was unknown at the time.
CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT
Assault
• A 17-year-old female from Chehalis was booked into the Lewis County Juvenile Detention for one count of fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, in the 1000 block of Northwest Prindle Street at about 11:37 a.m. Oct. 24.
• Jessica M. Ford, 43, Chehalis, was booked for alleged assault and issued a citation with a future court date in the 100 block of Southeast Sixth Street at about 11:57 a.m. Oct. 24.
Arrests
• Joseph W. Fritzen, 41, Clarkston, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for one count each of third-degree theft and resisting arrest after he allegedly stole three candy bars in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 12:27 p.m. Oct. 24.
Accidents
• A single-vehicle non-blocking collision was reported in the 2000 block of Northeast Kresky Avenue at about 7:13 a.m. Oct. 28.
Burglary
• A burglary was reported in the 1000 block of Southwest 20th Street at about 9:08 a.m. Oct. 24.
Theft
• Shoplifting of golf balls was reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 2:48 p.m. Oct. 23.
• A theft was reported in the 1700 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 12:08 p.m. Oct. 28.
• A theft was reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 4:39 p.m. Oct. 28.
JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Oct. 30, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 177 inmates, including 164 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 132 were reported male and 32 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
• As of Oct. 31, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total jail population of 24 inmates. Of those, 13 were from Centralia and two were from the Department of Corrections. Additionally, there were four inmates from the Lummi Nation, two from the Quileute Nation, two from the Tulalip Tribe and one from Suquamish Tribe.
