CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Phoenix Varley, 22, Chehalis, was arrested in the 1200 block of Lum Road at about 7:50 a.m. Jan. 23 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Heath Papproth, 45, Winlock, was arrested in the 1200 block of Lum Road at about 7:50 a.m. Jan. 23 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged possession of a controlled substance.
• Lisa Harris, 52, Tumwater, was arrested in the 1000 block of Eckerson Road at about 8:30 p.m. Jan. 23 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged second-degree criminal trespass.
• Jennifer Barber, 49, Centralia, was arrested in the 1000 block of South Yew Street at about 10:07 p.m. Jan. 23 and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for alleged third-degree theft.
• Christina Hughes, 35, Winlock, was arrested in the 1000 block of South Yew Street at about 1:10 a.m. Jan. 24 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged third-degree theft.
• Anthony Parkins, 44, Centralia, was arrested in the 500 block of Harrison Avenue at about 1:27 a.m. Jan. 25 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged possession of a controlled substance and alleged use or delivery of drug paraphernalia.
• Daniel A. Roa, 28, Sacramento, was arrested in the 1000 block of South Yew Street at about 7:37 a.m. Jan. 25 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for third-degree theft after allegedly attempting to leave a store with stolen merchandise.
• Casey M. Specht, 46, Centralia, was arrested in the 900 block of Long Road at about 7:11 p.m. Jan. 25 after allegedly assaulting and threatening officers during a contact.
• Michael P. Sallas, 64, Longview, was arrested in the 1000 block of South Yew Street at about 1:16 a.m. Jan. 26 after allegedly going onto property from which he had previously been trespassed. Sallas also allegedly stole items from the store while trespassing.
• Igor Izhevskiy, 45, Vancouver, was arrested in the 1000 block of Belmont Avenue at about 4:27 a.m. Jan. 26 after allegedly starting a fire on private property.
Accidents
• Officers took the report of a hit-and-run collision in the 900 block of South Pearl Street at about 7:56 p.m. Jan. 25.
Assault
• Megan S.I. Haunreiter-Holmes, 21, Centralia, was arrested in the 700 block of South Tower Avenue at about 6:55 p.m. Jan. 25 after allegedly engaging in a physical altercation with a family member.
Burglary
• A burglary was reported in the 1300 block of Kresky Avenue at about 7:23 a.m. Jan. 23. No suspects were identified.
Criminal trespass
• John J. Blaser, 39, Centralia, was arrested in the 100 block of Sunnyside Drive at about 12:55 p.m. Jan. 24 and issued a criminal citation for first-degree criminal trespass after he allegedly entered a property that was not his own.
• Travis M. Sallas, 36, Shelton, was arrested in the 1000 block of South Yew Street at about 3:07 a.m. Jan. 26 after allegedly going onto property from which he had previously been trespassed.
Department assist
• A Centralia police K9 officer assisted the Chehalis Police Department with the detection of narcotics in a vehicle in the 300 block of Northwest Florida Avenue at about 10:51 a.m. Jan. 23. The detection reportedly led to the arrest of a subject and seizure of the vehicle.
• Centralia police assisted the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office by locating a suspect in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue at about 10:44 p.m. Jan. 24 and transferring him to the sheriff’s department’s custody. The suspect had allegedly committed a burglary earlier in the day.
Loitering for drug activity
• Michelle Banks, 45, Centralia, and Nicholas Kos, 38, Centralia, were issued criminal citations for alleged violation of Centralia Municipal Code for loitering for drug-related activity in the 500 block of Harrison Avenue at about 1:27 a.m. Jan. 25.
• Ramon A. Vidales, 40, Centralia, was arrested at the corner of Harrison Avenue and West High Street at about 6:10 p.m. Jan. 25 for allegedly violating Centralia Municipal Code for loitering for drug purposes.
Possession of methamphetamine
• Gene Hiblar, 23, Centralia, was issued a criminal citation in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue at about 2:36 a.m. Jan. 25 for alleged possession of a controlled substance.
Theft
• Police obtained and served a search warrant to investigate the theft and unlawful use of a credit card in the 200 block of East Chestnut Street at about 8:10 p.m. Jan. 23.

JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Jan. 26, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 207 inmates, including 194 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 149 were reported male and 45 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
• As of Jan. 22, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total jail population of 14 inmates. Of those, four were from Centralia, one was from Elma and three were from the Department of Corrections. Additionally, there were two from the Skokomish Tribe and one each from the Quileute Nation, the Suquamish Tribe, the Tulalip Tribe and the Chehalis Tribe.
