Arrests
• Teresa L. Leys, 56, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail at about 11:44 a.m. Aug. 15 for second-degree criminal trespass after allegedly refusing to leave the property of a place from which she was trespassed in the 300 block of West Main Street.
• Jeffery S. Brazel, 41, of Lacey, was referred for potential charges at about 10:25 a.m. Aug. 16 for allegedly violating a no-contact order for domestic violence in place in the 1300 block of Belmont Avenue.
• Jon D. Harland, 51, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail at about 1:57 p.m. Aug. 17 for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, in the 2400 block of Borst Avenue.
• Amore F. Madsen, 49, of Tacoma, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail at around 4:24 p.m. Aug. 17 for second-degree assault after a physical altercation took place over door locks being changed in the 1100 block of Scammon Creek Road.
• LeGrand L. Denetclaw, 45, of Chehalis, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail at about 4:37 p.m. Aug. 17 for third-degree theft in the 2600 block of Eureka Avenue.
• Centralia police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Harrison Avenue at about 6:13 p.m. Aug. 17 for a report of multiple subjects being passed out in a vehicle with drug paraphernalia in plain view. Kelly Eddins, 38, of Woodland, and Ashley Lohrli, 31, of Centralia, were arrested and released for possession of a controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia. Jason A. Green, 36, of Randle, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, as he allegedly supplied the narcotics ingested by the others.
• Steven D. Peterson, 37, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail at about 12:52 a.m. Aug. 18 for delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a controlled substance after a followup investigation into an earlier incident in Centralia. During this same contact, Jodee A. Beckwith, 30, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for multiple outstanding arrest warrants.
Hit-and-run
• A hit-and-run occurred at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and Interstate at about 1:08 a.m. Aug. 15.
Theft
• Theft of wires was reported in the 1300 block of Salzer Creek Drive at about 10:16 a.m. Aug. 15.
• Airpods were reported stolen at about 11:07 a.m. Aug. 15 in the 100 block of West High Street.
Burglary
• Noah D. Cochren-Hawkes, 35, of Centralia, was referred to the prosecutor’s office for felony charges after allegedly entering a residence he was court-ordered not to be at and violating a court-ordered no-contact order in place in the 600 block of Alder Street at about 12:24 a.m. Aug. 15. Cochren-Hawkes was not located, and his whereabouts are currently unknown, the Centralia Police Department stated.

JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Monday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 173 inmates, including 160 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of general population inmates, 139 were reported male and 21 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
