CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Vehicle Prowl

• Items were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 400 block of North Oak Street just after 3:10 p.m. on Oct. 26.

• A vehicle prowl was reported in the 1600 block of Cooks Hill Road just after 5:50 a.m. on Oct. 27.

• A vehicle prowl was reported in the 200 block of North King Street at approximately 6 a.m. on Oct. 27.

 

Other Theft

• An exhaust system was reported stolen from a carport in the 800 block of E Street just after 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 25.

• Clothing was reported stolen from a business in the 1400 block of Lum Road at 5:25 p.m. on Oct. 25.

• A wallet was reported stolen from a business in the 1300 block of Lum Road just after 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 25.

• An internal theft at a business in the 1000 block of Eckerson Road allegedly involving an employee was reported just after 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 26 and is under investigation.

• A subject was arrested in the 1400 block of Lum Road just after 4:40 p.m. on Oct. 26 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for allegedly stealing items worth more than $750 from a business.

 

Disorderly Conduct

• A subject was cited for interfering with a transit bus after allegedly assaulting a male who was also riding the bus at approximately 2:50 p.m. on Oct. 25.

 

Criminal Trespass

• A subject was cited for second-degree criminal trespass in the 500 block of South Tower Avenue just after 7:40 p.m. on Oct. 25.

 

Hit-and-Run

• A hit-and-run to a parked vehicle in the 1200 block of South Tower Avenue was reported at 11:15 a.m. on Oct. 26.

 

Assault

• A subject was arrested in the 1000 block of Grand Avenue at approximately 2:05 a.m. on Oct. 27 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged fourth-degree assault, domestic violence.

Theft

• A third-degree theft was reported in the 1400 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 8:25 a.m. on Oct. 25.

• A vehicle was reported stolen from the 300 block of Southwest Third Street at approximately 9 a.m. on Oct. 25.

• A shoplift was reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 4:50 p.m. on Oct. 25.

• Information on a burglary in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue reported at approximately 5:10 p.m. on Oct. 15 is under investigation.

• A vehicle prowl reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 6:05 p.m. on Oct. 25 is under investigation.

• A first-degree theft reported in the 1200 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 26 is under investigation.

• An attempted theft reported in the 700 block of Northwest Liberty Place just after 1:15 a.m. on Oct. 27 is under investigation.

 

Unlawful Display of Weapon

• An unlawful display of a weapon reported in the 1200 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 7 p.m. on Oct. 25 is under investigation.

 

Hit-and-Run

• A hit-and-run was reported in the 1500 block of North National Avenue just before 7:05 p.m. on Oct. 25.

• A hit-and-run was reported in the 300 block of Southwest Third Street at 10:50 p.m. on Oct. 26.

 

Crashes

• Injuries were reported after a two-vehicle collision in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 2:40 p.m. on Oct. 26.

• A vehicle accident was reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at 7:05 p.m. on Oct. 26.

 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

As of Wednesday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 149 inmates, including 131 in the general population and 18 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center. Of general population inmates, 114 were reported male and 17 were reported female. All WERC inmates were reported male.
