CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Austen O. Petty, 29, of Centralia, was arrested in the 1200 block of Lum Road at 11:55 a.m. on Jan. 2 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail on a Napavine Municipal Court warrant for reckless driving and failure to appear.
• Makayla A.L. Flores, 32, of Chehalis, was arrested in the 1800 block of North Pearl Street just after 1:45 p.m. on Jan. 2 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail on a Thurston County Superior Court warrant for DUI, third-degree assault, obstructing a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.
• Donovan C. Schnaidt, 30, of Tacoma, was arrested in the 100 block of West Maple Street at approximately 3:50 p.m. on Jan. 2 and was issued a summons for an outstanding Centralia Municipal Court warrant.
• Robert Benson, 47, of Centralia, was arrested in the 700 block of North Tower Avenue just after 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 2 and was issued a summons for an outstanding Centralia Municipal Court case involving fourth-degree assault and indecent exposure.
• Robin B. Combs, 61, of Rochester, was arrested in the 100 block of West Maple Street just before 4:25 p.m. on Jan. 3 and was issued a summons on an outstanding Centralia Municipal Court warrant.
• Jason Landry, 48, of Centralia, was arrested in the 600 block of Harrison Avenue just before 8:55 p.m. on Jan. 3 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for an outstanding Centralia Municipal Court arrest warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
• Kenndra R. Cheney, 26, of Mossyrock, was arrested in the 1200 block of Southeast Washington Avenue just before 10:20 a.m. on Jan. 4 and was issued a summons with a new court date for an outstanding Centralia Municipal Court warrant.
• Brody A. Rice, 26, of Salkum, was arrested in the 1300 block of Delaware Avenue just before 2:25 p.m. on Jan. 4 for an outstanding felony Department of Corrections warrant.
• Seth T. Lloyd, 39, of Centralia, was arrested in the 500 block of Warren Street just after 3 p.m. on Jan. 4 for an outstanding Lewis County felony warrant.
Dispute
• A road rage incident was reported in the 800 block of Harrison Avenue just after 3:50 p.m. on Jan. 2. Both involved parties called 911 about the actions of the other, and no probable cause was established to make an arrest.
Domestic violence
• Charles Taylor, 48, of Centralia, was arrested in the 1100 block of Scammon Creek Road just after 8:10 p.m. on Jan. 2 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for third-degree malicious mischief, domestic violence.
• Holly Eisel, 24, of Morton, was arrested at the intersection of East Magnolia Street and North Tower Avenue just after 9:55 p.m. on Jan. 2 and was booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence and third-degree malicious mischief, domestic violence.
• Kayleen N. Swenson, 23, of Centralia, was arrested in the 1300 block of Belmont Avenue at 11 a.m. on Jan. 3 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, and third-degree malicious mischief, domestic violence. Swenson allegedly caused damage to property belonging to another and struck the same individual with a dustpan.
• Carson D. Pendleton, 29, of Centralia, was arrested in the 1300 block of Rose Street just after 1:20 p.m. on Jan. 3 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for residential; burglary, domestic violence. Carson allegedly used force to break into a residence he was trespassed from, causing damage.
• Brian T. Abarta, 26, of Centralia, was arrested in the 800 block of West First Street just after 2:35 p.m. on Jan. 4 for allegedly assaulting a significant other during an altercation.
Disorderly conduct
• Michael Kauer, 53, of Centralia, was arrested in the 1200 block of Harrison Avenue just before 9:35 p.m. on Jan. 2 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for disorderly conduct.
• Randy A. Durham, 43, of Centralia, was arrested at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and East Bridge Street at 2:20 p.m. on Jan. 3 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for disorderly conduct after he was seen throwing items in the roadway and entering traffic.
Theft
• A moped was reported stolen from the 1000 block of South Pearl Street at 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 2.
• A package was reported stolen from the 100 block of North King Street just after 7:25 p.m. on Jan. 3. The case is under investigation.
Criminal trespass
• Trevor Craig, 25, of Centralia, was arrested in the 600 block of South Tower Avenue just after 1:45 a.m. on Jan. 3 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for second-degree criminal trespass, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession/use of drug paraphernalia.
• Lisa Harris, 52, of Tumwater, was arrested in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue just after 1:45 a.m. on Jan. 3 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for first-degree criminal trespass.
Interference with a health care facility
• John M. Perkins, 64, of Tacoma, was arrested in the 900 block of South Scheuber Road at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 3 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for interference with a health care facility after he allegedly threatened staff, attempted to kick people, entered restricted areas and refused to leave the facility.
Drug violations
• Mackenzie M. Fish, 22, of Salkum, was arrested in the 1000 block of Eckerson Road just after 12:20 p.m. on Jan. 3 and was cited for unlawful possession of meth and fentanyl and for possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Faith E. Cadle, 21, of Winlock, was arrested in the 1200 block of Harrison Avenue just after 11 a.m. on Jan. 4 for an outstanding warrant. Upon arrest, she was found to be in possession of suspected fentanyl. Due to medical concerns, the jail would not accept her, and she was provided medical care, according to the Centralia Police Department.
• Julie L. Sokolowski, 30, of La Center, was arrested in the 100 block of West High Street at 5:50 p.m. on Jan. 4 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and third-degree theft. Officers contacted Sokolowski in a parking lot and located drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. Officers eventually searched the vehicle and located suspected meth and numerous items that were confirmed stolen from a local clothing store.
• Krista L. Wiley, 40, of Shelton, was arrested and released in the 1000 block of South Yew Street at approximately 8:05 p.m. on Jan. 4 for unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Melissa E. Olsen, 42, of Hoodsport, was arrested and released for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Hit-and-run
• A hit-and-run was reported in the 1000 block of West Cherry Street at 2:10 p.m. on Jan. 3.
• A hit-and-run was reported at the intersection of Johnson Road and Borst Avenue at approximately 6:05 p.m. on Jan. 3.
Department assist
• Centralia police officers assisted Lewis County Sheriff’s Office deputies with arresting Jerry Hernandez Nunez, 31, of Centralia, for second-degree malicious mischief in the 3500 block of Russell Road at 12:20 a.m. on Jan. 4.
Assault
• A bar fight in the 500 block of North Tower Avenue reported just before 2:15 a.m. on Jan. 4 led to injuries and hospitalization for one individual. All involved subjects have not been identified. The case is under investigation.
Sexual assault
• A sexual assault reported in the 1000 block of North Scheuber Road just before 10 a.m. on Jan. 4 is under investigation.
CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Jan. 5, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 186 inmates, including 173 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 141 were reported male and 32 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
• As of Jan. 5, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total jail population of 10 inmates. Of those, four were from Centralia and three were from the Department of Corrections. Additionally, there was one inmate from the Quileute Nation, one from the Tulalip Tribe and one from the Suquamish.
