Sirens: Drug paraphernalia found after crash; man rams vehicle; woman arrested after scratching someone's face

CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Arrests

• Kaela M. Glover, 40, Rochester, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver in the 1300 block of Reynolds Avenue at about 10:01 a.m. Sept. 10. Officers responded to a collision where they located drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. During the investigation, officers allegedly found Glover had sold drugs to another person. Glover was also referred for allegedly driving under the influence.

• Joshua D. Johnson, 41, Centralia, was arrested after allegedly violating a court-issued no-contact order at the corner of Tilley Avenue and Lewis Street at about 6:35 p.m. Sept. 10.

• Dominic A. Rowland, 19, Centralia, was arrested after he allegedly — and with intention — rammed a vehicle that contained a family member in the 1600 block of Harrison Avenue at about 1:30 a.m. Sept. 11.

• Maryanne W. Kimani, 38, Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, after she allegedly scratched the face of her romantic partner during a dispute in the 100 block of North Silver Street at about 5 p.m. Sept. 11.

 

Protection order violation

• Baylee S. Palmer, 25, Centralia, was referred to the Centralia prosecutor for an alleged violation of a domestic violence no-contact order in the 100 block of Virginia Drive at about 12:17 p.m. Sept. 10.

 

Criminal trespass

• A female subject from Centralia was trespassed from a business after allegedly taking an item without paying for it in the 1000 block of South Yew Street at about 8:34 p.m. Sept. 10.

• Two juveniles were trespassed from a business after allegedly taking items without paying for them in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue at about 9:39 p.m. Sept. 10.



• A female, reported to be transient, was issued a trespass warning after a business reported she was soliciting money from people on their property in the 600 block of North Tower Avenue at about 1:16 p.m. Sept. 11.

 

Hit-and-run

• A hit-and-run collision was reported in the 400 block of West Main Street at about 11:38 p.m. Sept. 10. No suspect information is known.

 

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Theft

• Austin W. Jensen, 30, Centralia, was cited and released for third-degree theft after allegedly shoplifting in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 1:50 p.m. Sept. 8.

 

JAIL STATISTICS

• As of Sept. 12, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 181 inmates, including 168 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 139 were reported male and 29 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
