CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Isaiah E. Mohr, 28, Chehalis, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for DUI, operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device and first-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license in the 100 block of East Summa Street at about 1:40 a.m. Jan. 16. An officer allegedly observed Mohr’s erratic driving and conducted a traffic stop. Further investigation allegedly supported the officer’s suspicion of impaired driving.
Accidents
• A two-vehicle collision with no injuries was reported in the 1300 block of Harrison Avenue at about 1:26 p.m. Jan. 14.
Agency assist
• Police investigated a case of possible financial exploitation in the 1200 block of South Tower Avenue at about 10:43 a.m. Jan. 14.
Criminal trespass
• Two subjects were trespassed from a closed park in the 300 block of Lowe Street at about 11:05 p.m. Jan. 15 after they were contacted by police while engaging in lewd conduct.
Order violation
• Rane L. Cook, 49, Centralia, was referred for an alleged domestic violence protection order violation in the 1100 block of Scammon Creek Road at about 4:52 p.m. Jan. 15.
Residential burglary
• An order violation was reported in the 2800 block of Russell Road at about 7:24 a.m. Jan. 14. The suspect reportedly entered the residence through a window and left before police arrived. The case is under investigation.
Theft
• A juvenile was reportedly arrested for shoplifting in the 1000 block of South Yew Street at about 6:42 p.m. Jan. 14 and released to his parents.
CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Stephen D. Pierce, 47, Randle, and Dawson J. Harris, 30, Rochester, were arrested in the 1700 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 3:01 p.m. Jan. 9 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged third-degree theft. Both were reportedly issued criminal citations and given mandatory court appearances for Chehalis Municipal Court.
• Thalia M. Martinez, 23, Chehalis, was arrested in the 100 block of Southwest Second Street at about 3:01 a.m. Jan. 12 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged third-degree assault.
• Levi Solomua, 44, Lakewood, was arrested in the 500 block of Southeast Washington Avenue at about 12:51 p.m. Jan. 12 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for one count of alleged second-degree assault constituting domestic violence.
Accidents
• A two-vehicle accident without injuries was reported in the 2500 block of Northeast Kresky Avenue at about 3:03 p.m. Jan. 13.
Criminal trespass
• Ivan W. Case, 32, Castle Rock, was reportedly issued a citation for first-degree criminal trespass in the 300 block of Southwest Third Street at about 6:24 p.m. Jan. 11.
Drug violation
• Police issued a criminal citation to a suspect for unlawful inhalation of toxic fumes in the 10 block of Southwest Chehalis Avenue at about 2:06 p.m. Jan. 15.
JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Jan. 16, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 172 inmates, including 159 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 123 were reported male and 36 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
• As of Jan. 16, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total jail population of 17 inmates. Of those, nine were from Centralia, one was from Elma and four were from the Department of Corrections. Additionally, there was one each from the Quileute Nation, the Suquamish Tribe and the Tulalip Tribe.
