Centralia Police Department
Crashes
• A collision occurred during the early morning hours of Jan. 7 at the intersection of South Yew Street and West Cherry Street. The crash was reported at about 6:23 a.m. No injuries reported.
Arrests and citations
• Justin L. Gibson, 34, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged violation of a domestic violence protection order at about 6:51 a.m. Jan. 7 in the 1000 block of Scammon Creek Road.
• Heather L. Belcher, 56, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail on an outstanding Oklahoma arrest warrant for a drug offense at about noon Jan. 7 in the 100 block of West Maple Street.
• David Knoblock, 46, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into Chehalis Tribal Jail for an outstanding Centralia Municipal Court arrest warrant for driving with a suspended license at about 9:11 p.m. Jan. 7.
• Rickey Mahaney, 46, of Shelton, was issued a new Centralia Municipal Court date for an outstanding warrant for first-degree criminal trespassing, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 1:30 a.m. Jan. 8 in the 100 block of West Maple Street.
• Michael Ryan, 34, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for an outstanding Centralia Municipal Court arrest warrant for violation of a domestic violence protection order at about 9:18 a.m. Jan. 8 at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and Johnson Road.
• Debra Conrad, 71, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for an outstanding Chehalis Municipal Court arrest warrant for failure to transfer title within 45 days at about 2:23 p.m. Jan. 8 in the 200 block of South Silver Street. Conrad was also issued a criminal infraction for possession of a controlled substance.
• Jesus Morales Hernandez, 30, of Centralia, was issued a new Centralia Municipal Court date for multiple outstanding arrest warrants for driving with a suspended license, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 3:37 p.m. Jan. 8 at the intersection of North Gold Street and Ham Hill Road in Centralia.
• Tony Wells, 48, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for felony harassment at about 7:19 p.m. Jan. 8 in the 2600 block of Eureka Avenue. He was also referred to Lewis County Superior Court for a fourth-degree assault charge.
Dog fraud
• A case of internet fraud was reported at about 2:06 p.m. Jan. 7 in the 100 block of South Silver Street. The victim contacted a website to purchase a dog and sent $900 for the dog to be shipped to Washington. No dog was sent. The perpetrators used spoofed telephone numbers and false names.
Business vandalized
• A report of vandalism at a local business was made at about 7:31 a.m. Jan. 8 in the 100 block of North Tower Avenue. The case is under investigation.
Pornography
• A report of a juvenile being in possession of sexually explicit photographs was made at about 2:28 p.m. Jan. 8 in the 1000 block of B Street. The case is under investigation.
Nuisance violation
• Zachary Greene, 51, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into Chehalis Tribal Jail for violation of Centralia Municipal Code barring the consumption of liquor in a public place as well as use of drug paraphernalia at about 10:56 p.m. Jan. 8 in the 300 block of West Main Street.
Generator stolen
• A generator was reported stolen from the 300 block of Linda Lane at about 4:06 p.m. Jan. 8. The case is under investigation.
Chehalis Police Department
Disorderly conduct
• A male was cursing and yelling at customers in the 100 block of Northwest Chehalis Avenue, according to a report at 10:32 a.m. Jan. 6. No arrests were made.
• A disorderly female was reportedly in front of a business in the 400 block of North Market Boulevard at about 4:31 p.m. Jan. 6. No arrests were made.
• A disorderly woman was reportedly screaming at a bus stop in the 600 block of South Market Boulevard at about 2:54 p.m. Jan. 7. No arrests were made.
Theft
• A caller in the 1000 block of Southwest 20th Street reported the theft of their daughter’s Airpods at about 2:12 p.m. Jan. 7.
Crash
• A two-vehicle, non-injury crash was reported at about 7:04 p.m. Jan. 6 in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana.
• A two-vehicle, non-injury crash was reported at about 2:06 p.m. Jan. 7 at North National Avenue and Northwest Chamber of Commerce Way.
• A two-vehicle, non-injury crash was reported at about 12:15 p.m. Jan. 7 at Northwest Louisiana Avenue and Northwest Arkansas Way.
JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Jan. 9, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 172 inmates, including 159 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 129 were reported male and 30 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
• As of Jan. 9, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total jail population of 22 inmates. Of those, eight were from Centralia, one was from Chehalis, and 10 were from the Department of Corrections. Additionally, there was one inmate from the Quileute Nation, one from the Tulalip Tribe and one from the Suquamish Tribe.
