CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Jamie L. Voight, 46, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Thurston County Jail at about 9:02 a.m. June 25 on outstanding warrants. Voight was also issued a criminal citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Jason A. Landry, 47, of Centralia; Marcus J. Brennan, 33, of Centralia; and Raina J. Lalonde, 21, of Spokane Valley; were all contacted by law enforcement for suspicious drug activity at about 9:34 a.m. June 25. Landry was booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for possession of a controlled substance. Brennan was issued a criminal citation for possession of a controlled substance. Lalonde was booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail on outstanding Centralia Municipal Court warrants.
• Glenn T. Smith, 44, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail at about 7:11 p.m. June 25 for residential burglary with domestic violence, third-degree malicious mischief with domestic violence, and an outstanding Centralia Municipal Court warrant. Two additional charges of violation of a domestic violence no-contact protection order are being referred for charging, according to the police department. Smith reportedly broke into a residence on N. Gold St. in Centralia, from which he was restrained, causing property damage.
• Nicholas Decker, 38, of Chehalis, was arrested at about 5:25 a.m. June 26 and released for possession of a controlled substance after being found in possession of suspected methamphetamine.
• Gregorio Cordero, 35, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail at about 7:07 a.m. June 26 for second-degree criminal trespass after being observed on a property he had already been trespassed from.
• Ashley Lohrli, 31, of Winlock, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail at about 7:16 a.m. June 26 for possession of a controlled substance after being found in possession of fentanyl.
• Kaile Hamilton, 31, of Chehalis, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail at about 10:08 a.m. June 26 for an outstanding Lewis County Superior Court arrest warrant for trafficking in stolen property in the second degree. Hamilton was arrested and released with a new court date for three outstanding warrants for two counts of third-degree theft and possession of a controlled substance.
Identity Theft
• Officers received a report at about 12:27 p.m. June 25 of identity theft involving an unknown suspect using another’s information to subscribe to a cable service. The case is still under investigation, according to the police department.
Theft
• Officers received a report at 7:35 p.m. June 25 that a trailer hitch was stolen off of a pickup truck during the previous night. No arrests have been made.
• A Nintendo Switch was reported stolen from a porch at about 10:19 p.m. June 26 after it was left unattended.
Criminal Impersonation
• Officers received a report at about 9:07 a.m. June 26 of fraudulent bank transactions at 705 S. Silver St. in Centralia. The case is under investigation, according to the police department.
Eluding Police
• Officers assisted in apprehending a suspect that eluded the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office and Washington State Patrol. The male subject fled their vehicle on foot and jumped into the Chehalis River. Centralia officers, with the assistance of a citizen with a boat, apprehended the suspect and turned him over to WSP at about 1:30 p.m. on June 25.
CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Gregory M. Krueger, 48, was arrested at about 10:34 a.m. June 25 in the 1300 block of NW State Ave. in Chehalis for harassment after allegedly running down the street and threatening to kill people. He allegedly chased an old woman to her car.
• Legrand L. Denetclaw, 44, of Chehalis, was arrested and transported to the Lewis County Jail on one count of fourth-degree assault at about 1:46 p.m. June 25 in the 1000 block of NW Prindle St. in Chehalis for allegedly pushing the caller and stealing their debit card before leaving on foot.
Assault
• An assault was reported at about 10:49 a.m. June 25 at a business in the 800 block of S. Market Blvd. in Chehalis after a disorderly male customer reportedly threatened to body slam the caller for moving something around. The suspect allegedly smashed a customer’s hand in a door before leaving in a silver SUV.
JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Friday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 169 inmates, including 156 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of general population inmates, 128 were reported male and 28 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
