Illegal camping
• A 28-year-old New York man was arrested and issued a criminal citation for camping on city property after receiving prior warning at 5:08 a.m. June 15 at Mellen Street and Old Airport Way.
DUI arrests
• Charles W. Hislop, 76, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for DUI after being involved in a minor collision at about 4 p.m. June 15 at Kresky Avenue and Fair Street.
• Suzzette Gurrola, 24, of Winlock, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for DUI after being involved in a motor vehicle collision at about 5:34 a.m. June 16 at North Tower Avenue and East Sixth Street.
• Dustin G. McCombs, 45, of Elma, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for driving under the influence of alcohol at about 1 a.m. June 15 in the 800 block of Harrison Avenue.
• Daniel B. Dominguez Salas, 38, of Winlock, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for driving under the influence of alcohol at about 2:17 a.m. June 15 in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue.
Assault arrests
• A juvenile runaway was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Juvenile Detention Center after allegedly assaulting a parent who was attempting to take them back into custody at about 4:07 p.m. June 15 in the 1200 block of Harrison Avenue.
• Rachel K. Contreras, 44, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, at about 11:06 p.m. June 14 in the 600 block of South Yew Street.
Arrested for stolen booze
• Timothy Mendizabal, 29, of Chehalis, was arrested and booked for third-degree theft after allegedly stealing alcohol from a store in the 500 block of South Tower Avenue at about 5:03 p.m. June 15.
Drive-by shooting
• A report of a drive-by shooting at a residence in the 700 block of South Pearl Street was reported at about 5:20 a.m. June 16. The case is under investigation.
Criminal trespassing
• Jeffrey Richter, 41, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for second-degree criminal trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia after returning to a property he had already been evicted from at about 9:07 a.m. June 16 in the 1000 block of Grand Avenue.
• Carlina F. Anderson, 35, of Chehalis, was arrested and booked for first-degree criminal trespass after entering a building she was previously trespassed from in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue at about 11:07 p.m. June 13.
Theft
• Christopher J. Jackson Jr., 34, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for third-degree theft at about 7:38 p.m. June 14 in the 100 block of South Yew Street.
• An unknown suspect stole alcohol and a bag of chips from a local grocery store in the 500 block of South Tower Avenue at about 9:45 p.m. June 14. The suspect has not been identified.
• Thomas S. Brannam, 33, of Olympia, was arrested for taking property from a local store without paying for it at about 11 a.m. June 13 in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue.
• Michael R. Chown, 45, of Doty, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for two counts of third-degree theft at about 5:04 p.m. June 13 in the 1000 block of South Yew Street. Officers were attempting to locate Chown after he stole from a local grocery store. When officers located Chown at another store, they found items from that store concealed on his person.
• A woman in the 900 block of South Scheuber Road reported her cellphone was stolen at about 6 p.m. June 13. The case is under investigation.
Driving without a license
• A juvenile was referred for driving without a license or identification in the 100 block of East Main Street at about 7:43 p.m. June 14.
Malicious mischief arrest
• Marcus S. Valderrama Jr, 31, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for third-degree malicious mischief, domestic violence, at about 8:09 p.m. June 14 in the 1400 block of Johnson Road.
