CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Interfering with a Health Care Facility
• A subject was referred to the prosecutor’s office for possible charges at approximately 11:50 a.m. on Feb. 4 after he allegedly made statements to employees at a health care facility in the 2400 block of Reynolds Avenue “that caused alarm and the removal of other clients.”
Theft
• A cellphone was reported stolen from the 1600 block of Harrison Avenue at 1:20 p.m. on Feb. 4. The case is under investigation.
• A suspect allegedly stole a pair of shoes from a store in the 1300 block of Lum Road just before 5:40 p.m. on Feb. 4 and fled on foot before police arrived.
• A subject was referred to the prosecutor’s office for possible charging just after 5:50 p.m. on Feb. 5 after allegedly stealing a thermal camera from an auto parts store in the 600 block of Harrison Avenue.
• Several bottles of alcohol were reported stolen from a business in the 500 block of South Tower Avenue just before 9:20 p.m. on Feb. 5
• Just before 11:25 a.m. on Feb. 6, a chain saw was reported stolen from a truck in the 600 block of North Pearl Street sometime overnight.
• A circular saw was reported stolen from the 1600 block of Harrison Avenue just after 12:40 p.m. on Feb. 6.
• A lunch box and glasses were reported stolen from a parked vehicle in the 900 block of South Scheuber Road at 11:25 p.m. on Feb. 6.
Obstruction
• A Centralia man was arrested at the intersection of East Main Street and South Railroad Avenue just after 9:10 a.m. on Feb. 5 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail on an outstanding felony warrant out of Cowlitz County and for allegedly trying to leave the scene after he was detained.
Assault
• Just after 9 p.m. on Feb. 5, an adult male victim reported another male struck him in the face “with a fist holding a metal object,” fracturing his “face area,” in the 1200 block of Alder Street earlier that evening. No arrests have been made and the case is under investigation.
DUI
• Klarrissia L. French, 27, of Rochester, was arrested at the intersection of West Main and South Iron Streets just after 1:50 a.m. on Feb. 6 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for allegedly driving under the influence after she crashed her car into a metal light pole. No injuries were reported.
Malicious Mischief
• A subject was arrested in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue just before 10:10 p.m. on Feb. 6 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for first-degree malicious mischief after they allegedly kicked the side of a police car, damaging the vehicle.

Theft
• Merchandise was reported stolen from the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 10:45 a.m. on Feb. 4.
• A subject was cited for allegedly stealing food and clothes from a business in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at approximately 1:20 p.m. on Feb. 4.
• A $400 ladder was reported stolen from the 1700 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at 2:55 p.m. on Feb. 4.
• A basket of groceries was reported stolen from the 1300 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just before 9:10 a.m. on Feb. 6.
• A vehicle prowl reported in the 1200 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 5:15 p.m. on Feb. 6 is under investigation.
• An “armful of items” was reported stolen from a business in the 1500 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 6:40 p.m. on Feb. 6.
• A third-degree theft was reported in the 1300 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at approximately 4:10 a.m. on Feb. 7.
Crashes
• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision was reported at the intersection of Southwest Cascade Avenue and Southwest First Street at approximately 3:35 p.m. on Feb. 4.
• A non-injury vehicle accident was reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 4:10 p.m. on Feb. 4.
• A non-injury vehicle accident was reported in the 1100 block of South Market Boulevard just before 12:40 p.m. on Feb. 6.
Disputes
• A verbal dispute was reported in the 600 block of Northwest Arkansas Way at 2:55 p.m. on Feb. 4.
• A verbal dispute was reported at the intersection of Southwest 15th Street and Southwest Mills Avenue at 10:10 p.m. on Feb. 4.
Malicious Mischief
• A case of third-degree malicious mischief was reported in the 2500 block of North National Avenue at 1:55 p.m. on Feb. 6.
LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS
As of Wednesday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 160 inmates, including 128 in the general population and 32 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center. Of general population inmates, 102 were reported male and 26 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 28 were reported male and four were reported female.
