Preliminary appearances
• Alfredo Gonzalez, 29, made a preliminary appearance Aug. 17 for one count of first-degree malicious mischief after he allegedly damaged a sprinkler in his cell at the Lewis County Jail, which reportedly flooded the area. A judge set bail at $5,000 cash or bond and scheduled an arraignment for Aug. 20.
• Teresa A. McCracken, 51, Winlock, made a preliminary appearance Aug. 17 for one count each of second-degree taking a motor vehicle without permission and driving under the influence after she allegedly took a man’s car and wrecked it while on the property. McCracken reportedly lives in a trailer on the property. McCracken allegedly told law enforcement she’d taken the car to pick up her dog that was “down the road,” according to court documents. A judge set bail at $50,000 cash or bond and scheduled an arraignment for Aug. 20.
CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Eleni M. Miller, 29, Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) in the 1000 block of South Pearl Street at about 11:09 p.m. Aug. 17.
Assault
• An assault was reported in the 900 block of South Scheuber Road at about 5:21 p.m. Aug. 17.
• A sexual assault was reported in the 300 block of Lowe Street at about 6:44 p.m. Aug. 17. The case is under investigation.
• A juvenile was referred to the Lewis County Prosecutor’s Office for alleged fourth-degree assault in the 2800 block of Russell Road at about 5:31 p.m. Aug. 18.
Drug violation
• Garrett M. Hadeen-Speer, 36, Centralia, was arrested for his outstanding Centralia Municipal Court warrants near the corner of Northup Street and South Gold Street at about 12:28 a.m. Aug. 19. When officers searched Hadeen-Speer upon his arrest, they allegedly found a suspected methamphetamine pipe.
Extortion
• According to police, a juvenile was convinced to send nude images to an online stranger they met on TikTok. Once the photos were provided, the stranger threatened to leak the photos to the victim’s friends and family if they did not send money. Officers received the report in the 1200 block of Eckerson Road at about 12:02 a.m. Aug. 19.
Hit-and-run
• Police responded to a reported hit-and-run collision in the 1700 block of South Gold Street at about 10:45 a.m. Aug. 18. The collision reportedly occurred days earlier. No suspect information was available at the time.
Malicious mischief
• Police responded to a report of vandalism to a vehicle windshield in the 1800 block of Hillview Road at about 12:30 p.m. Aug. 18. The unknown suspect reportedly used either a BB gun or a pellet gun to damage the windshield.
Theft
• Officers received a report of fraudulent bank transactions in the 1100 block of South Pearl Street at about 6:44 p.m. Aug. 18. The case is under investigation.
CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT
Citations
• Dianne Ethridge-Delucca, 62, was issued a criminal citation for alleged third-degree theft in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 1:05 p.m. Aug. 17.
JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Aug. 19, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 146 inmates, including 131 in the general population and 15 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 100 were reported male and 31 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 13 were reported male and two were reported female.
• As of Aug. 19, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total jail population of 15 inmates. Of those, three were from Centralia, one was from Napavine and five were from the Department of Corrections. Additionally, there were two from the Lummi Nation and one each from the Quileute Nation, the Shoalwater Bay Tribe, the Skokomish Tribe and the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
