Arrests
• Tyler J. Noga, 27, of Rainier, is being referred for a fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, charge after officers responded to a dispute in the 1500 block of Lewis Street at about 3:05 a.m. Dec. 27.
• Trevor K. Craig, 25, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for loitering for drug-related activity after he was contacted in a high drug area, with drug paraphernalia, while allegedly showing physical signs of recent drug use in the 700 block of South Gold Street at about 10:57 a.m. Dec. 27.
• Jesse M. McCracken-Bates, 28, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for knowing possession of a controlled substance after it was allegedly found that he had a baggie of methamphetamine sticking out of his pocket while he was being contacted by law enforcement. At about 11:21 a.m. Dec. 27 in the 500 block of South Gold Street.
• Danielle L. Griffin, 39, of Portland, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for knowing possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a legend drug and possession of drug paraphernalia after she was allegedly contacted while sleeping in the passenger seat of a vehicle with visible drug items in her possession at about 12:25 p.m. Dec. 27 in the 100 block of West High Street.
• Nicholas L. Gonzalez, 35, of Seattle, is being referred for the charge of protection order violation after allegedly contacting the protected party in a protection order by phone. Police responded to the report at about 5:42 p.m. Dec. 27 in the 2700 block of Mt. Vista Road.
Fire
• Officers responded to a fire in front of a nearby business in the 200 block of Centralia College Boulevard at about 6:37 p.m. Dec. 27 after magazines and newspapers were lit on fire on the sidewalk.
Malicious mischief
• A vehicle was found to be damaged in the 700 block of South Yew Street at about 11:49 a.m. Dec. 26. No information is known about when or how the damage was caused.
Juveniles high on a roof
• Two juveniles are being referred for criminal charges after they were caught trespassing at about 1:26 p.m. Dec. 26 on a property in the 600 block of H Street, climbing on top of buildings, and using and possessing marijuana. The same juveniles were involved in an assault earlier in the week.
Hit-and-run
• A hit-and-run was reported in the 1400 block of Jensen Avenue at about 5 p.m. Dec. 26. No additional information is currently available.
Animal abuse
• Officers responded to reports of animal abuse against a two-month-old puppy at about 10:10 p.m. Dec. 26 in the 1000 block of Eckerson Road. Officers contacted the owner and observed no signs of animal abuse.
Nuisance violations
• Officers contacted two transient males and warned them for camping on city property at about 11:27 p.m. Dec. 26 in the 1300 block of Mellen Street.
• Officers contacted two California residents and warned them for camping in the roadway in the 2000 block of Borst Avenue at about 1:42 a.m. Dec. 27.
