Sirens: Man accused of injuring child with belt; assault with firearm; driver arrested for identity theft; Lewis County Jail statistics

CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Arrests

• Christopher J. Noonan, 36, Centralia, was arrested after allegations of using physical discipline on a child and leaving lasting marks with a belt in the 1100 block of Scammon Creek Road at about 4:45 p.m. Oct. 10.

• Fidel Hernandez-Isidro, 36, Centralia, was arrested after he allegedly entered a residence unlawfully and assaulted another individual with a firearm in the 100 block of North Washington Avenue at about 9:45 p.m. Oct. 10. The victim allegedly sustained injuries that required medical attention.

• Damion R. Haddican, 33, Salkum, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged identity theft and outstanding warrants in the 600 block of South Tower Avenue at about 7:38 a.m. Oct. 11. Haddican allegedly gave the name of a relative during a traffic stop.

Accidents

• Kerry E. Clark, 39, Pullman, was arrested for hit-and-run after allegedly backing into another vehicle and leaving the scene in the 900 block of Orton Street at about 10:29 p.m. Oct. 10.

• A hit-and-run collision was reported at the corner of North Tower Avenue and East Hanson Street at about 4:39 p.m. Oct. 12. The case is still under investigation.

Criminal trespass

• Two individuals from Centralia were trespassed from private property in the 1300 block of Harrison Avenue at about 6:19 p.m. Oct. 11.

• A Chehalis man was trespassed from private property in the 1100 block of E Street at about 8:23 p.m. Oct. 12.

Malicious mischief

• Damage to a vehicle and garbage can was reported in the 1200 block of South Yew Street at about 8:58 a.m. Oct. 10.



• A victim reported that the tires on their vehicle were slashed in the 900 block of East Locust Street at about 11 a.m. Oct. 12.

Theft

• Theft of tires from a cart was reported in the 1400 block of Harrison Avenue at about 8:36 a.m. Oct. 11.

Violation of protection order

• Jaime G. Gonzalez, 65, Centralia, was referred for a charge of alleged violation of a domestic violence no-contact order in the 1100 block of Prospect Avenue at about 12:41 p.m. Oct. 11.

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Chehalis Police Department has not yet released its most recent call reports. Look for updated information in an upcoming edition of The Chronicle and at chronline.com when the reports are made available.

JAIL STATISTICS

• As of Oct. 13, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 187 inmates, including 174 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 151 were reported male and 23 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.

CORRECTIONS

In the previous Sirens published in the Oct. 11 edition of The Chronicle, Jennifer R. Madrano was incorrectly referred to as the person who allegedly tried to run over her spouse with a vehicle in the 300 block of Southwest Third Street at about 6:29 p.m. Oct. 4. Madrano was, however, referred to the city prosecutor for different charges.
