Preliminary appearances
• Bladen M. Jones, 20, Onalaska, made a preliminary appearance Sept. 3 for one count each of theft of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm and first-degree trafficking in stolen property after he allegedly stole a firearm from a home he was visiting and then tried to sell it. A judge set bail at $10,000 cash or bond and scheduled an arraignment for Sept. 10.
• Chase N. Gammel, 42, Chehalis, made a preliminary appearance Sept. 8 for one count of first-degree malicious mischief after he allegedly threw a rock at a window in the after-hours release area of the Lewis County Jail. A judge set bail at $5,000 cash or bond and scheduled an arraignment for Sept. 10.
CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Marcus J. Rawson, 47, Olympia, was arrested and booked for allegedly driving on a suspended license — along with alleged unlawful possession of a controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia — in the 1300 block of North Pearl Street at about 1:08 p.m. Sept. 8. Amy R. Gomez-Moreno, 35, Centralia, was arrested and released with a criminal citation for alleged unlawful possession of a controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia. Kara M. Brown, 35, Centralia, was arrested and released with a criminal citation for alleged use of drug paraphernalia.
Assault
• Donte J. Gray, 20, Centralia, was arrested in the 700 block of South Pearl Street at about 11:23 p.m. Sept. 7 after officers responded to a report of Gray allegedly making threats to harm another individual in their shared residence. During the course of the arrest, a juvenile allegedly intervened and assaulted an officer. Officers arrested the juvenile for alleged third-degree assault and obstructing a law enforcement officer.
Criminal Trespass
• A transient individual was trespassed from a local business in the 200 block of South Tower Avenue at about 5 p.m. Sept. 7.
DUI
• Jorge Arevalo Gonzalez, 52, Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for allegedly driving under the influence near the corner of Harrison Avenue and Russell Road at about 6:11 p.m. Sept. 6. Officers contacted Arevalo Gonzalez during a collision investigation and observed alleged signs of impairment. No injuries were reported from the collision.
• Misty D. Fuller, 47, Centralia, was arrested at about 9:38 p.m. Sept. 6 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for allegedly driving under the influence near the Exit 81 northbound off-ramp of Interstate 5. After police pulled Fuller over on suspicion of DUI, a Washington State Patrol trooper responded to assist and ultimately took Fuller into custody.
• Cesar Lorenzo Sebastian, 25, Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for an alleged DUI and hit-and-run near the corner of South Tower Avenue and West Pear Street at about 12:26 a.m. Sept. 7. Officers reportedly found the vehicle Lorenzo Sebastian had been driving parked at a local business. During the investigation, officers determined Lorenzo Sebastian showed alleged signs of impairment related to alcohol.
Fraud
• Officers investigated a report of identity theft in the 1500 block of Lewis Street at about 9:02 a.m. Sept. 8.
Malicious mischief
• Damage to a victim’s vehicle was reported near the corner of North Gold Street and Ham Hill Road at about 2:10 p.m. Sept. 7.
Methamphetamine possession
• Jackie A. Trimmer, 67, Toledo, was arrested and released with a criminal citation for alleged unlawful possession of a controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia near the corner of South Yew Street and West Plum Street at about 2:15 p.m. Sept. 8.
Reckless burning
• Richard E. Spencer, 64, Centralia, was referred to the Lewis County Prosecutor’s Office for alleged reckless burning in the 200 block of Tilley Avenue at about 11:31 a.m. Sept. 7.
Telephone harassment
• A 34-year-old Centralia man was referred to the Chehalis Municipal Court for alleged telephone harassment in the 700 block of Northwest Arkansas Way at about 1:34 p.m. Sept. 6. According to police, the man allegedly called a local Chehalis business seven times during the day after not being hired for employment.
Vehicle prowl
• A vehicle prowl was reported in the 1500 block of Jensen Avenue at about 11:22 p.m. Sept. 6. The case is under investigation.
Violation of court order
• Michael S. Mansfield, 41, Centralia, was arrested in the 1300 block of Belmont Avenue at about 10:47 p.m. Sept. 7 after he allegedly violated a court order by being with the protected individual.
CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Sept. 9, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 154 inmates, including 141 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 118 were reported male and 23 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
• As of Sept. 9, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total jail population of 18 inmates. Of those, five were from Centralia, one was from Elma and eight were from the Department of Corrections. Additionally, there were two from the Chehalis Tribal Court and one each from the Lummi Nation and the Quileute Nation.
