CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Assault
• Ross B. Dickinson, 44, and Carcione C. Rabang, 26, both of Centralia, were arrested in the 1000 block of South Pearl Street at about 9:36 p.m. Sept. 2 after officers responded to a physical dispute and learned that two family members had allegedly been involved in a domestic violence altercation. Dickinson was arrested for alleged second-degree assault (domestic violence). Rabang was arrested for alleged fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
Criminal trespass
• Three transient individuals were trespassed from private property in the 1200 block of Harrison Avenue at about 12:19 p.m. Sept. 2.
Hit-and-run
• Officers investigated a hit-and-run collision near the corner of East Main Street and North Tower Avenue at about 12:03 p.m. Sept. 2.
Malicious mischief
• Damage to a vehicle was reported in the 1200 block of Belmont Avenue at about 5:08 p.m. Sept. 2. The case is under investigation.
• Damage to a vehicle was reported in the 900 block of Johnson Road at about 9:29 p.m. Sept. 2. The case is under investigation.
Possession of controlled substances
• Daniel Beckwith, 48, Centralia, was arrested in the 1000 block of Belmont Avenue at about 3:22 a.m. Sept. 3 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for an outstanding Lewis County District Court arrest warrant. Beckwith was also issued a criminal citation for possession of a controlled substance after officers allegedly found suspected narcotics on him during his arrest.
Theft
• Officers investigated the theft of a firearm in the 1200 block of Bayne Street at about 2:12 p.m. Sept. 2.
• Officers investigated the theft of a credit card in the 600 block of Bengal Court at about 8:21 p.m. Sept. 2.
CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Sept. 4, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 146 inmates, including 133 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 109 were reported male and 24 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
• As of Sept. 4, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total jail population of 20 inmates. Of those, four were from Centralia, one was from Elma and 11 were from the Department of Corrections. Additionally, there were one each from the Lummi Nation, the Quileute Nation, the Swinomish Tribe and the Chehalis Tribal Court.
