CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT
Vehicle Accident
• A semi truck backed into a vehicle at the corner of Southwest Chehalis Avenue and Southwest Lewis Street at about 11:43 a.m. July 22. No injuries were reported, and the collision did not block any roads.
Theft
• The theft of tools from a vehicle was reported in the 1700 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at around 1:17 p.m. July 22.
CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Eliezer J. Reinozo-Colmenarez, 35, of Centralia, was arrested at about 6:03 p.m. July 23 after allegedly being involved in a physical altercation with a family member in the 1000 block of Grand Avenue.
• Brandon S. Baily, 25, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail at around 11:54 a.m. July 24 for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue.
• Stephen C. Martindale, 48, of Coos Bay, Oregon, was arrested at about 7:45 p.m. July 24 for allegedly driving while under the influence in the 2000 block of Borst Avenue.
Vehicle Accident
• A two-vehicle collision with minor injuries occurred at the corner of Mellen Street and Ellsbury Street at around 12:58 p.m. July 23.
• A two-vehicle collision was reported at the corner of Floral Street and Lois Lane at about 3:27 p.m. July 23.
• A collision occurred between two vehicles in the 1000 block of West Main Street at about 3:54 p.m. July 23. Damage to vehicles was reported.
• A two-vehicle collision occurred in the 2300 block of North Pearl Street at about 4:28 p.m. July 24. Damage to vehicles was reported.
Theft
• Two female suspects reportedly stole items from a local clothing store in the 1300 block of Lum Road at about 12:07 p.m. July 24.
• The theft of a cellphone was reported at about 1:59 p.m. July 24 in the 100 block of South Silver Street.
JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Friday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 168 inmates, including 153 in the general population and 15 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of general population inmates, 133 were reported male and 20 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 13 were reported male and two were reported female.
