Sirens: Unlawful possession of firearm; thousands of dollars in merchandise stolen from outlets; assault of family member

LEWIS COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT

Preliminary appearances

• Theodore J. Fulton, 50, Pe Ell, made a preliminary appearance May 11 for one count of first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm. The court released Fulton on a $25,000 unsecured bond. He was scheduled for an arraignment on May 14.

CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Arrests

• David S. Drichas, 30, Vancouver, was arrested after allegedly taking several hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise from a department store in the 500 block of Harrison Avenue at about 12:24 p.m. May 11.

• Zachary S. Cline, 33, Chehalis, was arrested for an alleged outstanding warrant in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue at about 12:30 p.m. May 11. Upon arrest, Cline was allegedly found to be in possession of suspected narcotics.

• Marisol K. Diaz Ramirez, 50, Centralia, was arrested after an alleged physical altercation with a family member in the 1000 block of Harrison Avenue at about 10:21 a.m. May 12.

Accidents

• Officers responded to a two-vehicle collision in the 1100 block of West First Street at about 11:09 a.m. May 11.

• Officers responded to a two-vehicle collision in the 1000 block of South Yew Street at about 2:37 p.m. May 11.

• Officers responded to a two-vehicle collision in the 700 block of Pioneer Way at about 7:13 p.m. May 11.

• Officers responded to a two-vehicle collision in the 400 block of North Tower Avenue at about 1:21 p.m. May 12.

Criminal trespass

• A disorderly subject was trespassed from private property in the 500 block of South Tower Avenue at about 9:02 p.m. May 11.

• Adrienne E. Chester, 33, Centralia, was arrested in the 600 block of South Tower Avenue at about 11:04 p.m. May 11 for alleged criminal trespass.

Theft



• Officers investigated a theft in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue at about 9:19 a.m. May 11. The theft reportedly occurred the day prior.

• Officers investigated the theft of more than $1,900 worth of merchandise from an outlet store in the 100 block of West High Street at about 1:49 p.m. May 11.

• Officers investigated the theft of more than $1,000 worth of merchandise from an outlet store in the 100 block of West High Street at about 2:10 p.m. May 11.

Drug paraphernalia

• Renee L. Boettger-Gill, 60, Centralia, was arrested for allegedly being in possession of suspected drug paraphernalia in the 2400 block of North Pearl Street at about 10:33 a.m. May 11.

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Arrests and citations

• Lucy Fletcher was booked into the Lewis County Jail and issued a criminal citation for alleged violation of a protection order in the 10 block of Southwest Chehalis Avenue at about 2:47 p.m. May 8.

•  James P. Douglas was cited and released for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia in the 300 block of Southwest Third Street at about 11:26 p.m. May 8.

•  Joseph T. Etelamaki was booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged DUI and alleged hit-and-run in the 1400 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 8:08 p.m. May 9.

JAIL STATISTICS

• As of May 13, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 137 inmates, including 124 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 106 were reported male and 18 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.

• As of May 13, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total jail population of 24 inmates. Of those, 10 were from Centralia, one was from Elma and 11 were from the Department of Corrections. Additionally, there was one each from the Quileute Nation and the Shoalwater Bay Tribe.
