Sirens: Unlawful Weapon Display; Assaults; DUI

CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT 

Malicious Mischief 

• At 11:50 a.m. on Feb. 17, there was a report that an unidentified suspect had keyed a car in the 500 block of Harrison Avenue. 

• Graffiti was reported on a fence in the 300 block of South Buckner Street just after 4:40 p.m. on Feb. 17. 

• An 18-year-old Centralia man was cited for third-degree malicious mischief just before 6:55 p.m. on Feb. 18 for allegedly spray-painting graffiti on city property at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and northbound Interstate 5. 

• A Centralia man was cited for third-degree malicious mischief just after 7:50 p.m. on Feb. 18 for allegedly causing damage to a vehicle in the 400 block of West Pear Street. 

Unlawful Weapon Display 

• Just after 10:05 p.m. on Feb. 17, a subject reported a male had displayed a firearm in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue. The case is under investigation. 

Assault 

• A Chehalis woman was cited for fourth-degree assault in the 200 block of Oakview Avenue just before 3:15 a.m. on Feb. 18. 

• A 13-year-old girl was arrested in the 900 block of South Scheuber Road just after 10:20 a.m. on Feb. 28 and was booked into the Lewis County Juvenile Detention Center for felony third-degree assault after she allegedly punched an emergency room nurse in the face. 

• A Tumwater woman was cited for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence in the 1000 block of Eckerson Road at approximately 11:40 p.m. on Feb. 28. 

• A Centralia man was arrested in the 400 block of North Oak Street at 11:40 p.m. on Feb. 18 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for allegedly assaulting a significant other and breaking her phone. 



DUI 

• Joseph A. Stout, 42, of Centralia was arrested at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and West Bridge Street just after 6:05 p.m. on Feb. 18 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.

Hit-and-Run 

• A hit-and-run was reported in the 900 block of Centralia College Boulevard just after 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 19. 

Burglary 

• Forced entry to a business in the 1100 block of Johnson Road was reported just after 4:55 a.m. on Feb. 19. Items were reported stolen. The case is under investigation. 

• Forced entry to a business in the 1200 block of Mellen Street was reported at 6:45 a.m. on Feb. 19. Items were reported stolen. The case is under investigation. 

• A burglary to a business in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue was reported just after 9:45 a.m. on Feb. 19. The case is under investigation. 

Theft 

• A propane tank and a regulator were reported stolen from the 900 block of North Tower Avenue at 4:15 p.m. on Feb. 19. 

• A Centralia man was cited for third-degree theft at approximately 5:40 p.m. on Feb. 19 after he  allegedly stole a pair of shoes from a business in the 1400 block of Lum Road.
