Assault
• A juvenile and their mother were reportedly “fighting” in the 1200 block of Southwest Pacific Avenue at about 6:29 p.m. Nov. 19.
Overdose
• A reported overdose occurred in the 500 block of Southeast Adams Avenue at about 8:27 a.m. Nov. 19.
CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Griffin L. Russell Sr., 33, Chehalis, was arrested in the 3000 block of Borst Avenue at about 8:50 a.m. Nov. 19 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for second-degree burglary after he allegedly violated a no-contact order and entered a residence from which he was prohibited.
• Marin Diaz-Cifuentes, 47, Chehalis, was arrested in the 1200 block of Harrison Avenue at about 5:36 p.m. Nov. 19 after allegedly rear-ending a vehicle and fleeing the scene without providing the required information.
• Adrian R. Rojas, 23, Centralia, was arrested after allegedly breaking a window of a business during a physical dispute in the 300 block of North Tower Avenue at about 11:04 p.m. Nov. 19.
Accidents
• A hit-and-run collision was reported in the 1000 block of Harrison Avenue at about 12:08 p.m. Nov. 19.
Fraud
• Officers took a report of unlawful credit card use in the 900 block of Woodland Avenue at about 5:22 p.m. Nov. 19. The case is under investigation.
Malicious mischief
• Latrell A. Hughes, 20, Chehalis, was referred to the Centralia prosecutor for third-degree malicious mischief in the 900 block of South Scheuber Road at about 1:24 p.m. Nov. 19 for allegedly disrupting a healthcare facility.
JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Nov. 20, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 159 inmates, including 146 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 118 were reported male and 28 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
• As of Nov. 21, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total jail population of 21 inmates. Of those, six were from Centralia and seven were from the Department of Corrections. Additionally, there were two inmates from the Quileute Nation, two from the Tulalip Tribe, and one each from the Suquamish Tribe, Shoalwater Bay Tribe, Lummi Nation and the Chehalis Tribal Court.
