Six people were shot at a house party early Sunday in the South Hill neighborhood, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies responded to a call about a shooting around 1:39 a.m. in the 11500 block of 152nd Street East, according to the department. Deputies said they found one person at a party who had been shot, then received calls about others who had been wounded and were at local hospitals.

In total, six people were shot, including four men in their 20s and a 19-year-old woman all with non-life-threatening injuries. A 17-year-old male suffered life-threatening injuries, according to the department.

Officials said they believe there were around 100 people at the party, which took place in a short-term vacation rental home, and multiple shooters may have been involved. The Pierce County Sheriff's Department did not report making any arrests.

Sgt. Darren Moss, a spokesperson for the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, said the property owner described the house as an Airbnb. A spokesperson for Airbnb said there was no reservation there and the property has been listed on other platforms.
