A 3.1 magnitude earthquake shook Snohomish County late Thursday afternoon.
The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network recorded the quake southeast of Stanwood, near the unincorporated community of Florence, at 4:47 p.m. The depth was about 15 miles.
No damage has been reported.
A U.S. Geological Survey map based on community reporting shows the tremor was felt west across Whidbey and Camano islands, north to the Bellingham area, and southeast to Everett.
A 4.3 magnitude earthquake shook Puget Sound in October, felt as far north as Victoria, B.C., and as far south as Olympia.
