While Bigfoot hoaxer Raymond Wallace passed away in 2002, a new book titled “Son of Bigfoot” detailing his life and his prankster antics has now been published by his son, Michael Wallace, according to a St. Helens Press news release.

“Don’t you wish you knew Bigfoot? Michael Wallace knows him intimately,” the release stated. “In fact, he grew up with the man whose practical jokes on California logging sites fostered the Bigfoot lore and led to a fan base for the furry mythical creature with large feet, carved by a fellow logger.”

Recently, Michael attended book signing events in Toledo and at the Christmas book fair at Calvary Chapel in McMinnville, Oregon.

In his new 308-page book, Michael shares intimate details as to how his father carried out his hoaxes.

Actor Judge Reinhold calls the book “a delightful memoir of great honesty, humanity and hilarity,” according to the release.

“Michael Wallace’s Son of Bigfoot reveals the incredible true story of one of the greatest hoaxes in American history perpetrated by his father, Ray,” Reinhold said. “What greater proximity could a reader have than through the eyes of his son?”

Son of Bigfoot is available to purchase for $19.95 through multiple online retailers, including both Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
