Southwest Washington Fair Association’s Barn Bash set for June 15

The Southwest Washington Fair Association and the Junior Livestock Committee will host the annual Barn Bash fundraiser on Saturday, June 15, at the 4-H Barn at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds.

Doors open at 6 p.m. The cost to attend is $10, though children 6 and younger are free.

Money raised at the event will go toward premiums for 4-H and FFA participants and improvements at the fairgrounds.

Pulled pork sandwiches, cole slaw and dessert will be served. The cost for the meal is $10. 



There will be a silent auction and live music provided by Chris Guenther and the Honky Tonk Drifters. Line dancing instruction will be provided by Melody Smythe of the County Chicks.

The Livestock Committee will host a beer garden for those 21 and older from 6 to 11 p.m.

“Come and support the youth of Lewis County and the Southwest Washington Fair and have a lot of fun,” organizers wrote in a news release.
