The Morton-White Pass football team struggled to get anything going on Friday, losing 40-0 at Forks to fall to 1-2.

The Timberwolves managed just 92 total yards of offense and five first downs throughout the game.

The Spartans, however, were able to move the ball effectively, specifically in the second quarter, where they scored 26 points to break the game open.

Emmanuel Fernandez scored four touchdowns in the first half, three with his arm and one with his legs. His rushing touchdowns was the longest of the bunch, as he broke free for a 56-yard scamper. He finished the game with 117 rushing yards.

Gunner Rogers also broke off a long touchdown run in the second, scoring on a 39-yard run.

Brecken Pelletier was the lone bright spot for the Timberwolves offense, as he accounted for 69 of the team’s 92 yards, averaging 4.6 yards per carry on the night.

MWP is on the road again next week, for the third time in a four-game road trip. They’ll head to Rainier to face the Mountaineers.
