A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of multiple crimes, including first-degree attempted murder, after he allegedly stalked his victim across multiple states, the Thurston County Sheriff's Office says.

The man showed up at the victim's Lacey area home around 4 a.m. Monday armed with a gun, Sheriff's Lt. Mike Brooks said. The suspect allegedly threatened to kill the victim, he said.

The victim called 911, Brooks said. When deputies arrived, both the suspect and victim came to the door before the 29-year-old man was taken into custody, Brooks said.

The suspect also was booked on suspicion of the following crimes: first-degree attempted kidnapping, second-degree malicious mischief/domestic violence, harassment-threat to kill/domestic violence, first-degree burglary/domestic violence and stalking.
