Four residents were displaced after firefighters responded to a residential structure fire in the 100 block of Yetter Lane in a rural area east of Napavine on Monday, according to Lewis County Fire District 5.
Firefighters responded to the blaze at about 10 a.m. Upon arrival, they found that a small auxiliary structure and an RV were fully involved in flames.
“Responding units confirmed that all occupants were evacuated and began extinguishment operations,” according to a news release from Lewis County Fire District 5.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
“Four adults were displaced secondary to the incident and are receiving assistance from the Red Cross,” the release stated. “There were no injuries secondary to this incident.”
Firefighters returned to the site at about 11:30 p.m. Monday after the fire was rekindled. The fire was extinguished a second time.
