T-Birds’ skid reaches four with loss to Blazers

The Tumwater boys basketball team couldn’t start off 2024 with a win, falling 71-58 to 3A Timberline for its fourth straight loss.

The T-Birds (4-4, 3-0 2A EvCo) were led in scoring by Clay Morgan’s 18 points, while Jacob Dillon and Henry Wilson both added 11 apiece.

Tumwater finished 4 for 18 from beyond the arc as a team on the night.

The Thunderbirds are set to get back into league play Friday, at home against Black Hills.
