It’s three wins in a row for the Tumwater boys basketball team, which took down Washington 72-65 on Saturday afternoon.
The Thunderbirds built a 12-point lead in the first half, and they were able to do enough in the second half to hold on for the win.
Bryce Morgan and Sahara Anthony led the way with 15 points each, and Morgan also tallied five assists and four steals. Luke Overbay posted a 14-point, 11-rebound double-double, and Beckett Wall got close to one of his own with 10 points and eight rebounds.
Jake Dillon scored nine points and grabbed seven rebounds, and Landon Anchors grabbed seven rebounds.
Tumwater (8-2, 2-0 2A EvCo) will head across the highway on Tuesday to face Black Hills.
