The Morton-White Pass volleyball team went the distance Monday at Eatonville, and came back home with a five-set win, 25-19, 17-25, 25-23, 24-26, 15-13.

“The girls worked hard as a team and pulled off the win,” MWP coach Jamie Brazil said. “We had some things that just were not working for us, but these girls are fighters. They dug deep and pulled through.”

Amy Martinez dished out nine assists for the T-Wolves (1-1). Kiera Miller shared the team lead with four kills and added three blocks, while Maddie Clevenger had three kills.

Morton-White Pass will get an immediate rematch against Eatonville, hosting the Cruisers on Friday in Randle.
