Three injured in two-vehicle DUI crash near Randle

Three people were transported to Arbor Health Morton Hospital with injuries sustained in a two-vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 12 near Randle just after 6 p.m. on Wednesday. 

The at-fault driver, identified by the Washington State Patrol as James S. Toler, 68, of Centralia, is facing DUI charges. 

Toler, driving a 2002 gold Buick, reportedly turned left onto U.S. Highway 12 from northbound Kehoe Road, failing to yield to a 2002 white Acura driving eastbound on Highway 12. The Acura struck the Buick when the Buick pulled out in front of it, according to the Washington State Patrol, which responded to the crash at approximately 6:05 p.m. on Sept. 20. 



The Acura had two occupants at the time of the crash: the driver, a 21-year-old male from Glenoma; and a passenger, a 23-year-old male from Glenoma. 

The Washington State Patrol indicated the driver of the Acura was the only involved person wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. 

Both vehicles were totaled in the crash, according to Washington State Patrol.
