Unable to produce a goal, and under more pressure from the Black Hills attack in the second half, the Centralia boys soccer team fell to the Wolves Tuesday night at Tiger Stadium, 2-0.
Deadlocked at 0-0 at the half, the Wolves put 10 more shots on target in the second half, and though Tiger keeper Henry Silva finished with 10 saves, he let in two goals and Centralia couldn’t muster much offense in the loss.
Centralia managed 12 shots, but none found their way past the Black Hills defense.
The Tigers head to Aberdeen for their next matchup in Grays Harbor on Thursday while the Wolves look to build on their momentum when they play host to Shelton on Friday.
