Behind a new career low from Tyler Fagerness, the Centralia High School boys golf team squeaked by Kelso 236-241 on Tuesday afternoon at Riverside Golf Course. It’s the first victory under first-year head coach Trent Henning.

“Our golfers have been poised and focused,” Henning said.

Fagerness birdied the Par-4 No. 3 and parred the rest of the front-nine before a double bogey on No. 9. He was the medalist by seven strokes. Jake Johnson fired a 47 for Centralia while Jonas Howard fired a 49.
