The Napavine baseball team scored early and often against Mossyrock on Friday, and the Tigers rode that high-flying start to a 17-1 run-rule win.

Napavine scored six in the first, three in the second, and seven in the third to take a commanding 16-1 lead, and it tacked on an extra in the fourth.

Grady Wilson drove in three runs while Jack Nelson and Layton Griffith both drove in a pair. Griffith and Wilson both tallied two hits, and Cal Bullock had three in his four trips to the plate.

Hudson Chambers pitched the first four innings, allowing just two hits and one earned run while striking out seven, and Nelson struck out the side in a scoreless fifth.

Waylen Huguenin hit a double and scored Mossyrock’s lone run, and Easton Kolb also collected a hit.

Napavine (11-2, 9-0 C2BL) will head to White Pass to face Morton-White Pass on Saturday, while Mossyrock (4-6, 4-6 C2BL) will host Onalaska on Monday.
