Centralia got back in the win column at home on Thursday, snapping a four-game losing streak with a 72-44 victory over Aberdeen.
The Centralia offense got off to a good start, building a six-point lead after one thanks to a 13-point frame, but the Tigers really got going after halftime.
They scored 20 in the third and piled on 28 in the fourth to run away with a convincing win.
Ayana Saucedo led the way with 17 points, while both Maddie Ahern and Brooklyn Sprague scored 13. Estella Bussanich added eight points, and Makenzie Erickson logged six.
Now at 2-4 in league play, Centralia (11-6, 2-4 2A EvCo) is two games ahead of Aberdeen for the league’s final district tournament spot.
The Tigers will hit the road on Tuesday to face Tumwater before returning home to host Shelton next Friday, Jan. 30.
