The Napavine girls soccer team took a half to get going for the second straight match, but turned it on the latter 40 minutes to beat Ocosta 2-0 in a C2BL showdown in Westport on Wednesday.
It didn’t take long out of halftime for the Tigers to break a scoreless deadlock, with Grace Pancake scoring the go-ahead goal in the 42nd minute.
Hayden Kaut doubled the lead in the 57th.
Taylen Evander finished her night with five saves in net to cap off another good showing at the back for the Tigers, led by defenders Maya Kunkel and Emma Stewart.
Napavine is set to face Toledo next Monday.
