Napavine forced turnovers with ease on Tuesday against Mossyrock, and the Tigers took advantage of those takeaways in a 53-37 victory.
The Tigers forced 32 turnovers and scored 33 points off those turnovers while only turning the ball over 12 times and giving up six points off their turnovers.
Napavine also dominated on the offensive glass, where it got 22 offensive rebounds, while Mossyrock tallied just 17 defensive boards.
Hayden Kaut led the way with 18 points, 11 rebounds, and eight steals, while Nicholle Valentine also scored 18 points while bringing in seven rebounds.
Ava Ondong scored nine points and added six rebounds, while Taylen Evander scored five points and also chipped in four steals, four assists, and a pair of rebounds.
Sophia Bittner, Hannah Fay, and Alexis Schutz nabbed three steals each, and Bittner and Schutz combined for three points.
“Proud of the girls finding a way to win tonight,” Napavine coach Shane Schutz said.
Adyson Barrows led the Vikings with 17 points, three assists, and two rebounds, while Maci Rashoff added 12 points to go along with three rebounds.
Mossyrock (10-5, 0-3 C2BL) will host Toutle Lake on Thursday, while Napavine (12-4, 4-0 C2BL) will welcome Cle Elum-Roslyn on Friday in a non-league match.
