Pe Ell-Willapa Valley used a walk-off victory in its first victory over Enumclaw 2-1 then broke out the bats to complete a Friday night double dose of winning with a 14-4 triumph over Peninsula in Auburn.

Titans starter Lauren Emery was firing on all cylinders in the first game, allowing just two hits and two walks while fanning 11 Hornet batters in a full seven innings of work. The only run she gave up was an RBI triple in the sixth inning.

PWV struck first on an RBI base hit from Tylar Keeton in the fifth frame. After Karli Phelps was hit by a pitch to lead off the inning, she advanced to second on a wild pitch. An error from Enumclaw’s shortstop allowed Phelps to score the winning run.

Keeton and Sophia Milanowski combined for 11 RBIs on five hits in the second victory of the day. The Titans scored four runs apiece in the first three innings then added three more in the fourth. A run was taken away later in the game to make it a 10-run win.

Jillian Hodel had three hits for PWV against Peninsula while Lauren Matlock scored four times.
