With the coming of the new year, TJ Guyer Inc. — a Chehalis-based rental property management company — will now be known as Northwest Property Managers, according to a news release from the company.

Originally founded in 1984 by Tom Guyer, the Guyer family continued to run the business until 2013 when it was sold to Fred and Laura Lofgren. In 2024, the Lofgrens entered into a partnership with Steve and Jessica Wohld to “continue to provide a long-term future for the company.”

The company's headquarters will remain in Chehalis.

“Both the Lofgren and Wohld families remain committed to building a reputation of excellence,” the release stated. “… Our new name is simply meant to reflect what it is that we do, and where it is that we operate. This is an exciting time for our employees, our residents and our clients. We love our community and are pleased to announce Northwest Property Managers will remain a local family owned and operated Lewis County business with a bright future.”

Aside from managing rental properties here in Lewis County, Northwest Property Managers will also manage rentals as far south as Battle Ground and Vancouver, as far west as Montesano and Aberdeen and as far north as Tacoma and Lakewood.

“You can expect our commitment to top-quality service to not only continue, but also improve,” the release added.
