Tobin leads Pirates to league victory over Ravens

Striker Lydia Tobin found the back of the net four times on Wednesday night as the only source of Adna’s offense in a 4-1 triumph over Raymond/South Bend at home in a C2BL battle.

Ava Humphrey was the distributor to Tobin in the ninth, 29th and 44th minute. RSB tied the game in the 22nd minute on a free kick outside the 18-yard box, then the Humphrey Tobin connection resumed.

The final tally for Tobin was in the 74th minute on an assist from Bailey Naillon. The Pirates (5-4-1, 2-0-1 C2BL) registered 42 total shots.

“Lydia did a good job of reading the defense for what they were giving us and taking advantage at different moments,” Adna head coach Patrick Richardson said. “We just need to keep battling and give everyone our best shot every night.”

The Pirates will host Tonasket on Friday night in a non-league affair.
