Before an out was recorded, the Riverhawks saw themselves down 3-0 and they never recovered in a 9-3 loss to Stadium on Saturday afternoon at the Peck Athletic Fields in Tacoma.

After starting the year 8-0, Toledo has lost two consecutive heading into spring break. It will resume competition on April 15 versus Rainier. The offense mustered five hits and didn’t scratch a run until the top of the fourth on an error and a Ryker Hansen RBI fielder’s choice.

Stadium took advantage of back-to-back hit by pitches and a balk to set up two straight singles that put it up by three. The Tigers took advantage of 10 walks by four different Toledo pitchers. Nico Acosta and Brady Weeks each had a hit and a run scored for the Riverhawks.
