Behind the relief arms of Chase Davenport and Isaac Parmantier, the Riverhawks recorded a 9-0 victory over the Cardinals at home on Wednesday night to remain undefeated in the C2BL.
Davenport and Parmantier combined for 17 strikeouts and no hits over the final six innings of the game. Aidan Deskins earned the start and needed just 16 pitches to get out of the opening frame. Toledo (5-0, 4-0 C2BL) provided early run support.
Nico Acosta started the scoring by crossing home on a passed ball in the second, then three runs were tallied in both the third and sixth innings. Rohan Feigenbaum and Braylen Lawrence each recorded two hits and totaled five of the Riverhawks nine runs.
The Weeks brothers Eli and Brady notched RBIs while Toledo registered six stolen bases and drew five walks. Toledo will take on MWP on Friday night in White Pass while Winlock (2-4, 2-4) will host Adna, also on Friday.
