Thirty-one points in the first quarter was all the Riverhawks needed to put the finishing touches on a 3-0 week with a 66-25 beat down of the Fishermen on Saturday night at home.
In the three wins, Toledo (5-1) scored over 55 points each time and only allowed 30 points once. The first frame outburst featured just one triple and it only made two on the night. The rest of the damage was inside the arc.
Ryah Stanley led the Riverhawks with 14 points while Ellie Fallon had 13 and Taysia Miller chipped in 12. Miller grabbed seven rebounds and Stanley recorded five steals. Toledo will head to Alaska for a three-day tournament next week.
“Everyone played really well in the first half,” Toledo head coach Brian Layton said.
