Pe Ell had no trouble in Cathlamet on Thursday, dominating from wire-to-wire against Wahkiakum to win 54-12 and push its win streak to 11.
“This was the game I’ve been waiting for my girls to put together,” Pe Ell coach Kelsey Lennox said. “Four full quarters, fast and intense from the start, never letting up, and never getting comfortable. They had fun and it was fun to watch.”
Karli Phelps led the Trojans by tallying 13 points, six assists, and four steals, while Emma Kissner added 10 points, eight rebounds, and two assists.
Madi Engel also scored 10 points, and she also logged a pair of assists and a pair of steals. Peyton Zock and Devyn Shannon both scored eight points and hauled in six rebounds.
“Being our fourth game in six days and our second long road trip, I was so happy with the girls’ hustle and effort,” Lennox said. “Everyone worked hard and everyone contributed.”
Pe Ell (11-0, 4-0 1B CVL) will look to make it an even dozen on Tuesday at Columbia Adventist.
