Brackets for the 2A, 1A, 2B and 1B football tournaments were released on Sunday, and seven local teams are in contention for a state title.

Starting with the 2A bracket, unbeaten Tumwater earned the top seed, and the T-Birds will host No. 16 Port Angeles at Tumwater District Stadium on Friday at 7 p.m.

W.F. West also qualified for state after defeating Hudson’s Bay in a crossover match. The Bearcats will hit the road, taking on Highline up north at a time and location that has yet to be determined.

In the 2Bs, Napavine earned the No. 1 seed and Onalaska earned the No. 4. As top-four seeds, the Tigers and Loggers have both earned bye weeks to the quarterfinals, which take place on Nov. 17 and 18.

Toledo earned the No. 6 seed, pinning the Riverhawks against No. 11 Tri-Cities Prep this weekend.

The bottom half of the bracket could provide some intriguing rematches. If No. 5 Kalama tops No, 12 Friday Harbor, they’ll take on Onalaska, and if Napavine wins their quarterfinal, they’ll match up with the winner of Kalama-Onalaska in the semifinals.

Napavine will see the winner of No. 8 River View and No. 9 Asotin next weekend.

Mossyrock also earned a first-round bye, as the Vikings earned the No. 3 seed in the 1B bracket. They’ll battle the winner of the first-round matchup between No. 6 Almira Coulee Hartline and No. 11 Concrete.  Winlock, which beat Tulalip Heritage in the crossover round, earned the 12th and final seed in the bracket, and will take on No. 5 Neah Bay.
