The Twin City Wrestling Club hosted the Three-Styles Tournament, largest club-run tournament in the nation, over the weekend at the Northwest Sports Hub, and a dozen Mat Cats placed in the top four across the three-day event.

The three styles were wrestled across the three days, with Friday being the Greco-Roman wrestling, Saturday being Freestyle, and Sunday being Folkstyle.

On Friday Kaiden Coates (U14 120), Michael Digby (U8 62) and Jace Hanson (U10 77) all placed fourth.

On Saturday, Zoie Cortes (U14 225) and Davin Stratton (U10 93) both placed third.

Four TCWC wrestlers — Dean Carrington (U12 98), Cortes (U14 225), Hanson (U10 77), and Isabella Nelson (K-2 55) — placed third on Sunday, and three more — Ryker Chance (U8 49), Georgia Mills (GHS 105), and Emberly Sharp (K-2 49) — took fourth.

Up next for the older Mat Cats is a return to the NW Sports Hub. The U14, U16, Junior (HS) and High School Girls divisions will be competing for a national qualification. The top four placers in each division will earn a trip to the national tournament.
