Twin Transit Expands Dial-a-Ride Service

Posted

Dial-a-Ride Twin Transit (DARTT) is expanding.

Twin Transit’s door-to-door ride program can now service Centralia, Chehalis, Olympia, Napavine, Morton, Pe Ell, Tumwater, Mossyrock, Toledo and surrounding areas. Rides must be within the program’s service area, but anyone can Dial-a-Ride, resident or not.

DARTT is designed to help passengers get to appointments, pharmacies, grocery stores and more. Rides are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Rides must be booked and paid for by 4 p.m. the previous day. At least two hours notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling. DARTT rides are one-way, so make sure to book two rides for a round trip.

The DARTT service area map is broken into three zones. To schedule a ride call 360-330-5555 or visit TwinTransit.org for prices and more information. The price of each DARTT ride is determined by the originating zone and the number of additional zones the rider passes through.
