Two dogs saved from burning motorhome in Cowlitz County

Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue saved two pit bulls Sunday afternoon from a burning motorhome in Kelso, possibly caused by electrical decay.

Rescuers treated one dog for smoke inhalation and both sustained minor burns, according to a Cowlitz 2 press release. There were no other reported injuries.



The fire broke out in a motorhome, just after 3 p.m., in 1400 block of South Sixth Avenue in Kelso, and was extinguished within minutes of crews arriving, the department reports.
