Two killed in Pacific County motorcycle crash

Two Raymond residents died in a motorcycle crash in Pacific County on Sunday, Sept. 20, according to the Washington State Patrol. 

John W. Huglen, 33, of Raymond, was driving a 2022 Indian Chief motorcycle southbound on state Route 105 at mile marker 14 at about 5:55 p.m. Sunday when the crash occurred. 

The motorcycle lost control and struck the southbound rock embankment, then crossed all lanes and came to rest on the northbound shoulder. 

Huglen died at the scene, as did his passenger, Aprill L. Dundom, 35, of Raymond. 



The Pacific County Sheriff’s Office notified next of kin. 

According to the state patrol, it is unknown whether drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation. 

Both riders were wearing helmets. The motorcycle was totaled.
