Two people injured after failing to obey a stop sign, crashing into a ditch near Dryad on Monday

Two people were hospitalized after they failed to obey a stop sign on state Route 6 near Dryad early Monday morning and crashed into a ditch. 

The Washington State Patrol (WSP) responded to the crash at approximately 5:20 a.m. on Monday, April 8. 

The driver, identified by WSP as Mariah A. Boggs, 28, of Raymond, is possibly facing one count of failure to stop at a safety control device. Her passenger, Dale A. Rutherford, 24, of Raymond, is possibly facing one count of failure to wear a seat belt. 



Both subjects were transported to Providence Centralia Hospital for medical treatment. 

The vehicle, a blue 2016 Toyota Highlander, was towed from the scene.
